Why Didn't I Stop

It's 9 days since I published this game, and 14 since I started. I wanted to start earlier, but I had a lot of school. When I started I still had a lot of school, but somehow I managed to do both things pretty well. After I did all of my school, 95% percent of my free time was just making a game from a meme. If youtube recommendations haven't recommended RTX Morshu all easter eggs (Part 2!) to me, I would have 80 hours more free time, and you would not be reading this. From three replies in my form, I concluded that average playtime is 18 minutes. Because the game has about 250 downloads, I calculated that in total the playtime is 80 hours. I think my work has paid off. Actually, only thing I get from this, is knowledge, and a feeling that I have accomplished something. But I'm starting to lose motivation. I'm slowly beginning to do other unproductive things, and not updating this game. After all, I think there are 20 people just downloading the latest versions. I know that those 20 people enjoy this game, but in the end, they will stop too. Just look at the other RTX Morshu 2D game. In the start, he got promoted on a discord server with 3000 people. But the game had only under 50 downloads yesterday. Maybe it's because he doesn't update it very often, or I don't know. I just want to tell you that I'm losing motivation because there aren't many people playing this game. But at least I have learnt something: this is my second game, so I have learnt a lot of things about game development. I have also learnt (or at least I think) how to make a game popular: you need to constantly update it, write some posts about the game, and having a publisher is very important too, but in some cases you don't need to have one. After 9 days I'm gonna share analytics of this game:
